Abdul Pardis

Abdul joined Phosphoros Theatre because he had tried drama before and enjoyed it. He has lived in the UK for the longest out of our cast and brings together many of his friends and teachers from the NW London community to see our shows. He has represented Phosphoros on radio interviews and also spoken to primary age children in London about his experiences as a child refugee. He is our resident IT and phone expert and played a crucial role in our 2017 social media campaign in Edinburgh, asking members of the public to think about how they could make refugees feel welcome. Abdul is passionate about supporting the local refugee community and has volunteered for Afghan Association Paiwand as a mentor and assistant in their youth group for Afghan boys. He is currently a hard working student and has completed an Interpreting course as well as Maths and IT courses. In the future he’d love to go to university.
