‘Bichu’ is an exploration of a lost soul trying to find peace in the storm. The storm leads him towards bottles and pills. The storm disrupts his body, mind and spirit, leaving him hopeless and shaken. A lost person searching for his childhood joy. A soul looking for connection, with or within others. A soul that disappeared in flux. Will love be the journey or heartbreak? Does a hell of a journey bring heaven? Abel Atsede brings his experience as a queer, refugee artist to this new dance piece featuring original poetry, created with Phosphoros Theatre.
