Life in the UK (T&Cs apply)

2025 touring community show

Who are we? British? I don’t feel British.
Home is so far away now, I don’t feel like I belong there either.
My family say I speak with an English accent.
I am a traveller. A migrant. A citizen of the world.
And a refugee.

“Life in the UK (T&Cs apply)” was our touring community show for Refugee Week 2025. It’s full of the conversations we struggle to have about identity, belonging and home. Funny, bold and grounded in refugee lived experience, this show is an invitation to get talking about one of the most pressing issues of our time.

Supported by The City of London Inspiring London Through Culture Fund

Life in the UK (T&Cs apply) toured to community venues in the City of London and surrounding areas including schools, libraries, community centres, food banks and the City of Sanctuary AGM.
