Tsitsi Khachapuridze

Facilitator, young company

Tsitsi, originally from Georgia, joined Phosphoros Theatre in 2024. After taking part in our Young Company and Phosphoros Sisters projects, Tsitsi enrolled in our Facilitation Training programme and gained leadership skills. She is now part of the Young Company delivery team. Tsitsi loves theatre making, especially physical theatre, because it shows how people can understand each other without words.

According to Tsitsi, this feeling exists in Young Company, because the group shares a quiet understanding and deep support for one another. Young Company feels almost like therapy for Tsitsi - a space full of good energy, care and creativity.

Tsitsi is also an artist we are supporting through our Artist Development programme, where she has developed clown and movement performance, and new writing. Outside of Phosphoros, Tsitsi is studying Acting at college.
